As a mission trip volunteer, much of your time in Haiti will be spent working in orphanages. Your duties will include feeding the children, providing basic medical care, activities, educating and, most important of all, holding and loving the children. You will also have the opportunity to train orphanage staff and assist with community education programs.

Our mission trip volunteers play an extremely important role in our projects. They do what is needed most in the orphanages and communities: give love.
Studies have shown that love is just as important to survival as is water to the body. We are able to bring these neglected children the attention and love they so desperately need by taking groups of volunteers to hold and play with the children.
We invite individuals, families, and church groups to join us on a mission trip and make a difference in your life and the lives of orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children and communities of Haiti and Dominican Republic.

Yes. The full mission trip fee can be deducted as a charitable donation. The participation fee is considered a donation and goes into our general fund to be used at the discretion of the Foundation for Children in Need.
